Know the basics but still want support? Guided Play is for players who understand the game but feel more comfortable with an instructor nearby. Get help reading the card, choosing a hand, building strategy and keeping the game moving.
GUIDED PLAY INCLUDES:
Two and a half hours of supported play
An instructor available for questions and strategy
Help reading the card and choosing a hand
Mahjong tiles, mats and game supplies
$35 per player
Come by yourself or bring friends. Guided Play gives you the confidence and practice you need to become an independent player.
Mahjong 101
Never played Mahjong? This is where you start!
Mahjong 101 is designed for complete beginners with no prior experience needed. During this welcoming, step-by-step class, you’ll learn the tiles, how to read the card, set up the game and understand the basic rules of American Mahjong.
We’ll take the mystery out of the game and give you plenty of hands-on practice, so you leave feeling comfortable, confident and ready for Guided Play.
Mahjong 101 includes:
Three hours of beginner-friendly instruction
An introduction to the tiles and American Mahjong card
Game setup, rules and basic strategy
Guided hands-on practice
Mahjong tiles, mats and game supplies

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to know how to play?
No. We have beginner sessions that will allow you to learn while you are there. Make sure you sign up for the right session. We will also have specific dates for private lessons or group lessons as well.
Do I need to bring my own Mahjong set?
No. We have everything you need. Just bring yourself and a smile. :)
Can I book a private event?
Yes. We are an event venue that hosts numerous private events all year round. Reach out directly with the date, time frame, and how many will be in attendance. We can provide a quote. [email protected]
